OUR MISSION

To provide a safe, secure, FREE place for mothers to find support and encouragement from other mothers
and to empower them to be better women, parents and community leaders.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

No one should have to pay a fee to make a friend, so we offer free membership to any mother within the
community who wishes to join. Members gain camaraderie and support through an online forum that is
available 24 hours a day and events around the area where mothers can meet face-to-face and develop
real friendships that can last a lifetime.

We believe that, working together, mothers can change the world - one family, one neighborhood, one
community at a time. YorkCountyMommies is a connecting force, helping us each to make a difference in our
own lives, in our families and in the places we call home.

ABOUT US

YorkCountyMommies.com grew out of the desire for a safe, friendly atmosphere where moms of ALL
backgrounds can come together for friendship and support. This free online community is a great way to
connect with other York, SC moms in such local areas as Fort Mill, Rock Hill, Lake Wylie and York. We chat
online about hobbies, relationships, work, current events and of course, the trials and joys of motherhood.
We get together regularly around town for play dates & park days, Meet & Greets, and have much needed
Mom's Nights Out. With the desire to improve the communities we belong to, we help our neighbors as well
as ourselves through fundraisers and other charity events. Our members are real mothers in the real world,
making a better life for ourselves and our children, by supporting and connecting with each other.

We chat online in a private forum - discussing everything from the best photographers to the worst temper
tantrums and all that lies between - and meet-up regularly at member-driven events around town. Whether
it's a late night commiseration on a crying baby (there are 4 am posts to prove it) or a Mom's Night Out,
YorkCountyMommies provides what our members need, when and how they need it.

But YorkCountyMommies is more than just a community of moms. It's moms in and for the community. Our
members work full time, stay home full time, work part time, represent many races, are pregnant for the first
time, are adoptive moms, were adopted themselves, recently moved to the area, have lived here all our
lives, have twins, are happy with one, are single moms, are searching out schools and have watched their
kids graduate. In other words, we are a reflection of mothers in the real world. And we help out our
neighbors as much as ourselves through organized fundraisers and other charity events - specifically those
focused on providing for mothers and their children.
